Costume Contest

 

 

Add a little fun to your morning and join the Costume Contest.  The theme is "Spring."  Costume judging will begin after the last runner or walker crosses the finish line. 

 

1st Place, $75 
2nd Place, $50 
3rd Place, $25  

 

Food Drive

 

 

What brings most homeless and working poor people to Harbor Interfaith is the need for food.  When they visit our Food Pantry, we assign them to a case manager first, discuss the problems that brought them to us, and then offer them a 3-day supply of food.  We subsequently work with them to help them become self-sufficient.

 

Much of the food we offer comes from community donations.  We invite you to bring nonperishable food to the race and deposit it where indicated.  Thank you.

Health Fair

 

Harbor Interfaith works to improve the health of our clients.  Poor health is often a stumbling block to living a full life and reaching goals. 

 

As a result, we have an interest in the community's health as does our key sponsor, Torrance Memorial Medical Center.  The Fair, which will open at 6:30 a.m., will include booths from various healthcare providers and practitioners.
